Anyone who knows Chinese policies… nothing works without the blessings of the government in the country. So either they will have to amalgamate their payment systems with the proposed DCEP somehow or conform to the government standards. I don’t think the Chinese government would allow any parallel systems to function on which they have no oversight or control.
