If it's the CBDCs, they would just be the digital equivalent of the current paper money in circulation. The only difference is that with the new CBDC there would be no privacy as you have with cash or the mainstream cryptos. The most important feature of cryptos like Bitcoin is their decentralized nature — unlike the money we used which is controlled by the central banks, nobody has control over cryptocurrencies. I hope this makes sense.
