New research from Messari claims that Stellar (XLM) suffered a lightly reported an inflation bug in April 2017 which resulted in the creation of 2.25 billion $XLM worth approximately $10 million at the time. The quantity which was roughly equivalent to a quarter of the total supply was moved to different exchanges & sold in the first half of 2017. An equivalent amount was purposely burnt to avoid the dilution of the value of tokens & preserve the supply.
