Prominent Crypto economist & MIT Professor Christian Catalini is on leave from the University to work on Facebook’s stable coin project — a native token for the social media giant which will enable transactions among billions of its users & possibly allow online purchases as well. The Professor himself has declined to comment but the sources familiar to the matter have confirmed so to Coin Desk.
