Thanks for liking the article. I guess you answered the question yourself. Of course, inflation is a natural progression of prices in any given economy controlled by the interest rates set by the Central banks. But shrinkflation is a little different — it is a deliberate effort on part of the businesses to reduce the quantity but charging the same price. I hope it makes sense now. Cheers!
