The co-founder of Ethereum, Joseph Lubin has asserted that the launch of Ethereum 2.0 dubbed as Serenity will bring 1,000 times more scalability to the blockchain within 18 to 24 months. He also said that there will multiple ways to connect the old chain to the new one while confirming that concerns over PoS (Proof of Stake) have been thoroughly researched to make sure it works.
